My name is Alissa Greenman-Rowe. I am a lactation counselor and postpartum doula. I provide lactation support and postpartum care for families in and around the greater Boston area.

I believe the support a woman receives both during labor and in the early postpartum period can shape how she feels about her birth experience. The more in control, safe and cared for she feels the easier her transition into motherhood will be. I want to help women have confidence in their bodies and their choices. As well as bring new families to the realization that they CAN take care of their newborn and the rest of their lives at the same time.

Over the past 15 years I have worked with countless families including families with twins, families with children with special needs, single parent families and families with same sex partners. I have seen what has worked for all of them, and every family teaches me something new!
